NON COMEDOGENIC

NO ARTIFICIAL COLOURS OR FRAGRANCES
Dermalogica allows the natural ingredients of each product to determine its
colour and fragrance, minimising the potential for allergic and comedogenic
reactions.
NO ANIMAL TESTING
Instead of animal testing, Dermalogica conducts thorough in-vitro safety
testing on its products.
NO MINERAL OIL
Mineral oil can leave a greasy film on the skin's surface. Dermalogica uses
only lightweight, natural vegetable oils, as alternative emollients.
NO LANOLIN
Lanolin is comedogenic and can cause allergic reactions, Dermalogica uses only
non-comedogenic silk amino acids and vegetable squalane as natural
moisturising agents.
NO FORMALDEHYDE
Formaldehyde preservative can be drying and irritating. Dermalogica uses food
grade preservatives and natural vitamin E to ensure stability of its products.
NO SD ALCOHOL
Dermalogica uses naturally-astringent botanical extracts and oil absorbing
clays to treat oily skin, rather than SD alcohol which can strip natural
moisture from the skin.
